Hope fulfilled

Several years ago, I planted blueberries with the anticipation that my kids would be able to pick them. I planted figs with the same hope. Today was the fulfillment of that hope

Climbing Kids

I took my kids climbing today. It was an early morning with a 7:15 am departure. Becky was there to cheer us on. Managing two active kids and setting top ropes is just beyond my current capacity.

Our First Concert

We did it. We went to our first concert! Katja’s violin teachers were in the orchestra. So Katja and I went for the full effect of seeing the violin in use.

Skinners Butte Columns

She looks small from the top. This is the first time she went to the top!

New Fence

Before we move it’s time to take down the old falling apart fence and put in a new fence with some style. Final new fence Little helper It’s a dad and daughter world The dancing hammerer With stairs in view Pre-painting and painting Maybe I used honey teak colored stain.

Date time!

I took Katja to Falling Sky Delicatessen. It was great. I love having my little girl around. At the Restaurant

Missing bear found!

Blue bear, which is actually a dog… has been found. Blue bear is Katja’s special companion. He goes everywhere. Last Sunday he decided to stay the week at South Eugene High.
